Mexitato

Saturday, July 30th, 2005

Do you know what a mexitato is?

I just dropped by our local parish’s tiangge, and after more than a year, I managed to taste this Mexican-style mashed potato all over again.  It’s a hefty layer of freshly-made mashed potatoes topped with tasty ground beef, shredded cabbage and juicy diced tomatoes.  Add sour cream and hot sauce, pop it in to a microwave oven, then voila! Yummy!

Biggie Movies

Saturday, July 30th, 2005

Looks like I’m now waiting for 2 movies to arrive on silver screen this year.  One would be The Transporter 2 starring Jason Statham (The Cellular, The Italian Job, etc.).  He’s back, but now with a badder ride, and cooler martial arts moves.  I just saw the trailer a few days ago before watching Fantastic Four.

Up next would be Mirrormask.  If you know Neil Gaiman, you’ve heard about Mirrormask.  Can’t describe much about it, but it would be The Wizard of Oz of the modern era (the trailer says it all).

Tentative release date for both movies is on September 2005.  Get more info at movies.yahoo.com.

Guessing Favorite Times

Saturday, July 23rd, 2005

Lemme guess…DON’T TELL ME THAT YOUR FAVORITE TIME IS 8:39 PM…

My favorite time of the day is 5:30 pm (sunset time), but I’m also into like 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55, especially when you’re working in the office looking at that digital clock or computer time display.

Minute Passed Three

I just woke up today at 3:01 am.  It happened before early morning of Thursday.  What’s happening to me???

Anyway, it’s a good time to surf the net.

When the Sun Sets West

Friday, July 1st, 2005

It’s 5:45 pm.  I looked up and watched the sky spreads its bright colors in random, mixing the dark colors of the clouds and the bright radiance of the setting sun.
