Bingo, casino, raffle draws, text contests, radio phone in contests, in-studio game show contests, lotto, pick-a-prize, sweepstakes, scratch-a-card, STACKER!!! Damn it’s hard to win.
Just discovered this shampoo brand that features peel-off-the-sachet and win. I bought 3, opened 2, I won both. I got discount for a dozen donuts and a free ice-cream from a fastfood chain. Whatta luck! No "thank you for joining", "try again" or "better luck next time" messages.
Drawback: there’s a need of consuming the shampoo first because it should be cut using a pair of scissors to open it from the inside. It’s not just an easy peeling off procedure (TV commercials are deceiving…verrrrrry evil…joke lang).
Solution: Buy a shampoo dispenser.
Have a Happy Peeling!
It was UPCAT Sunday. My han and I decided to change our plans. Instead of going to UP to hear mass, we took a tricycle to Claret. So now I’m going back to school? It’s been a long time since I had my last visit to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Quezon City (grade 4 ba? tagal na nun). When I was small, I used to call this Claret Church. It’s really cool because the place hasn’t changed much. It still has the interesting Filipiniana feel, especially the statues and that unique tabernacle. The strange thing is, I thought it was so big…hindi naman pala masyado. Maybe because I was small then, I really thought this is the largest church I knew.
Actually, this is my First Sunday Mass here. I always had this memory before that this church was a venue for recognition days and graduations.
After the mass, we went around the church to take a peek in the campus. Lots of buildings. The quadrangle was still there. I can’t see the gym anymore. The used to be prep building seems 3 floors (or 4 I can’t recall) up from one. The football field is there, whoa it’s not that big either.
Oh, I forgot to check if the "SNACK BAR" was still there.
